THE END OF THE DINOSAURS

TRUMP, NETANYAHU, URIBE, ORBAN, MUSK: RELICS OF A CRUMBLING WORLD

They are still making noise. They intimidate, provoke, posture. But their time is running out. These authoritarian, ultra-conservative and neoliberal figures do not represent the future. They are the final spasms of a collapsing order. A political species approaching extinction.

A WORLD OUT OF BREATH

Trump, Netanyahu, Uribe, Orban, Musk. These are not visionaries, but symptoms. They emerged from the debris of the post-Cold War world, a world driven by markets, fear, and unchecked power. They rose on the promise of control through strength, on the cult of the dominant male, on the illusion that history had ended.

That world is now faltering. Financial capitalism is in crisis. The planet is dying. Societies are erupting. And these men have no answers. Only force, lies, and spectacle.

THE WEAKNESS BEHIND THE AGGRESSION

What they display as strength is desperation. What they call clarity is propaganda. They shout louder because fewer people are listening.

Trump clings to a fading American empire. Netanyahu bombs Gaza to survive politically. Uribe manipulates fear to protect his legacy and avoid prosecution. Orban governs through repression, not legitimacy. Musk compensates his strategic decline with online bravado and libertarian delusions.

Their power is a performance. And the stage is crumbling.

THE LAST BREATH OF AUTHORITARIANISM

Yes, they remain dangerous. History teaches us that declining regimes can be the most brutal. These men still have tools: the police, the courts, the media, the markets. But their narratives are empty. Their support is shrinking. Their politics is pure reaction.

They govern by crisis, by polarisation, by destroying institutions they can no longer dominate. Their appeal is ageing. Their methods are outdated. Their influence persists only because the alternative is still under construction.

URIBE: THE SYMBOL OF LATIN AMERICAN DECAY

Álvaro Uribe is not just a political figure. He is a case study in the Latin American version of authoritarian exhaustion. His rule was built on war, fear, and death squads. He normalised state terror under the guise of democracy.

Today, Uribe is being investigated for fraud and witness tampering. His party is imploding. His public appearances are desperate. He no longer leads. He haunts.

Uribe is not a visionary. He is the residue of a violent, corrupt model with no future.

A COUNTER-WORLD IS TAKING SHAPE

Beyond the noise, something else is rising. A new generation is building movements rooted in ecology, equality, solidarity and justice. It does not seek to dominate. It seeks to repair. It challenges the foundations of the world these men tried to preserve.

This world is not yet in power. But it exists. In every mobilisation. In every climate march. In every community that rejects fear and hierarchy. It is a world without saviours. A world in construction.

BURYING THE DINOSAURS

Trump, Netanyahu, Uribe, Orban, Musk. They are the last guardians of a colonial, patriarchal, extractivist, militarised system. Their ideas belong to another century. Their tactics reek of panic. Their politics is already obsolete.

They will not disappear on their own. They must be pushed out. Their fall must be organised. Their twilight must be shortened.

It is not enough to wait for the dinosaurs to die. We must build the world that replaces them. Now!

  1. Thank you. We are so exhausted from the atrocités, yet you show us a way if hanginc on and renewing thé struggle, with an alternative glimpse at all these horrors: Yes! May the recrudescence of evil be not the apocalypse of humanism but the agony of a rotten time soon to be gone!

    1. Your words go straight to the heart. What we are witnessing is unbearable, but staying silent would be far worse. I write, denounce and expose not out of despair, but out of commitment. Like you, I believe this violence is not the end but the desperate howl of a collapsing order. Humanism is not dead. It is gathering strength. And yes, I will keep the fire alive!
